W Polsce zdobyła sobie sporą popularność za sprawą ambitnej i ciekawej twórczości, mocnego brzmienia i odwołań do naszej narodowej historii. „40:1” to utwór niezwykły. Opowiada bowiem historię walk pod Wizną, gdzie garstka żołnierzy kpt. Władysława Raginisa przez kilka dni stawiała zaciekły opór przeważającym Niemcom.
