„Night witches” otwierają wydany w 2014 roku album „Heroes” szwedzkiej grupy metalowej Sabaton. Joakim Brodén opowiada historię kobiet-pilotów walczących w dywizjonie bombowym radzieckich sił powietrznych. Muzycy Sabaton podkreślają, iż przydomek „nocne wiedźmy” wziął się z naturalnego skojarzenia odgłosu, jakie wydawały spadające bomby. Ciekawy, mało znany epizod z historii walk lotniczych w czasie II wojny światowej, który zasługuje na przypomnienie. Muzyka do utworu została skomponowana przez członków grupy Joakima Brodéna i Pära Sundströma.
